Make sure the inventory you provided to your movers is complete
& accurate
Complete all packing before
your movers arrive (Packing boxes or bags during the move can slow down the moving & truck packing process, and can
cost you additional in fees & charges)
Make
sure all your furniture & appliances will fit up stairs & through hallways & doorways (Take measurements)
Look over all your furniture before your movers arrive to avoid any false
claims ( Most damages to furniture can be attributed to prior damage that was overlooked or forgotten about by the
customer(s)
Mention any heavy or awkward pieces
of furniture you may have
Clean off all table
tops & bureaus
Clean out all drawers &
shelves
Pack all loose misc items in boxes
or bags. (All small misc items must be packed in boxes or bags prior to our arrival, or they can not be transported)
To avoid our Dis-assembly Fee we recommend having all furniture

To avoid our Materials Charges we recommend that you purchase
all the mandatory wrapping materials prior to our arrival. (View any of our moving pages for a list of our Terms &

Keep toddlers &
children clear from the moving area(s)
Place
pets in a safe area & clear from the moving process
- If using
an elevator, make all the necessary arrangements to have it reserved prior to your movers arrival. Remember: Elevators
make the moving process easier, but can also make it more time consuming as well
